HOME STUDY
Home Study and Post Placement
Home Study Fee: $2,075 Home Study Administrative Fee: $150-$300 Due prior to the first meeting with a social worker. This fee includes all home visits, interviews and social worker travel, as well as preparing, writing, and completing the home study report. This fee is non-refundable after the first meeting.
Post Placement Visits and Reports: $450 per visit $550 per visit for placement of twins/sibling pair $175 a one-time fee for all cases for administrative services Due when the home study is complete and before it is released The number of post-placement visits will vary depending on the state(s) involved/program; requirements for the state where a child is born as well as the state where the adoptive family lives (if different) shall apply. These fees are non-refundable unless placement does not occur.
Subsequent Adoption Home Study Fee: $1675 (Applies to families who have previously adopted through Alliance for Children)
Home Study Administrative Fee: $150-$300

This fee includes all home visits, interviews and social worker travel, as well as, preparing, writing, and completing the home study report for families who have adopted previously and are starting a new process to adopt another child. This fee is non-refundable after the first meeting.
**Post Placement Services will apply as stated above and will be due when the home study is complete and before it is released.
Home Study Review Fee: $600
Due upon submission of the Home Study report.
This fee is to review home studies completed by another agency. It covers a home study review process by Alliance, communication with the family’s HS agency, sending/receiving cooperative and interagency agreements, and coordinating revisions to the home study.
Home Study Review Fee, Families living abroad: $750
Due upon submission of the Home Study Report.
This fee is for US citizens who are living abroad. It covers a home study review process, communication with the family’s HS agency, sending/receiving cooperative and interagency agreements, and coordinating revisions to the home study.
Renewal Update: $800 Home Study Renewal Administrative Fee: $150-$300 Due at the time the services are requested. This fee includes a home visit, updating and rewriting the home study; travel for social worker, and agency services to update and process paperwork when a family is in the middle of an adoption process if a home study is expiring. This renewal is needed to maintain a current, active, open file in accordance with program, state and federal regulations.
Home Study Addendum/Change Fee: $150-$400
Due at the time the services are requested.
This fee includes modifying the home study and processing the paperwork when information must be changed, edited, added, or amended.
Parent Education and Training: $130-$500 Expedited Home Study Fee: Additional $500 Insufficient Funds Fee: $50
